Ron DeSantis joins Fix Congress Now caucus

U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla, has joined the newly-minted Fix Congress Now caucus. The group, comprised of six Republicans and five Democrats, wants to “identify, agree upon, and move forward legislation and rule changes that will fix this institution.” “Congress is in a state of disarray. Just look at the institution’s unpopularity, the inability of the Senate to pass a budget in over 1350 days, and the perpetual crises caused by flimsy attempts at patching long-term problems with quick fixes,” DeSantis said in a statement.
