2010 Summary Tables

These tables summarize the data collected in the Veterans Federal Candidates for 2010 database. Predictions are based upon data from the Cook Political Report as of 10/20/2010. 

Data represents as many individuals with military experience who could be identified as candidates in either regular and special elections for federal office (House or Senate) held between January 2009 and November 2010. 

Data does not include the two non-voting members of the House of Representatives with military experience, Rep. Eni Faleomavaega (D – American Samoa) and Rep. Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan (I – Northern Mariana Islands), who are both in Safe contests for re-election. 

** Joe Miller (R-AK) is currently facing a tough challenge from incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski, who is running as an Independent Write-in candidate in the general election.
