Joe Kearns Goodwin, a former Army Captain, has announced his candidacy in the race for State Senate in the third Middlesex district in Massachusetts. Goodwin, a Democrat, enlisted after 9/11 and was eventually commissioned as a Second Lieutenant combat arms officer. He is a graduate of Harvard University. More details here.
Marine Corps veteran Josh Mandel has pulled even with incumbent Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, says a March 26th poll. Mandel closed Brown’s substantial lead after emerging as the GOP winner from a six candidate primary. A decisive 11% remain undecided. Read more here.
